Enfinite’s Galloway is a Waste Gas to Power Generation facility. The site has a generation capacity of 4 MW and is in the beautiful trees East of Peace River. Waste gas is taken from neighboring facilities that would otherwise be sent to flare and is utilized as fuel in our microturbines. The turbines are coupled to an electrical generator that converts the mechanical energy to power.

“As the Site Lead Power Technician at Peace River Power Center’s (PRPC) Galloway facility, I am proud to be part of such an innovative and efficient operation. Our facility boasts twenty highly efficient 200 kilowatt (KW) natural gas-fueled micro turbines, which provide reliable power by utilizing waste fuel produced as a by-product of local oil and gas production. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see how we turn what would be waste into a valuable resource, ensuring a sustainable and dependable power supply.”
