Located in the Municipal District of Wainwright, Alberta, eReserve2 consists of a 20-Megawatt (MW) capacity TESLA Megapack lithium-ion battery storage system. Supporting local energy generation, this standalone facility stores electricity for discharge into the local distribution system upon demand from the Alberta Electric System Operator (“AESO”). The project was purchased and built by Enfinite, who will serve as the owner and operator.
